Dr. Chau specializes in low vision rehabilitation. He has trained with some of the premiere low vision providers in helping individuals re-establish their independence. Low vision is a visual impairment that cannot be treated by conventional glasses, contact lenses, or surgical intervention. At Evolutionary Eye Care, we understand these struggles can be extremely difficult for individuals and their families cope both mentally and physically.
Dr. Chau will work thoroughly with patient determine what activities has become increasingly difficult or discontinue due to your vision loss. At the completion of the exam, he will develop a personalize low vision rehabilitation plan where he prescribe and train individual how to utilizes devices to improve day-to-day independence. Many patients may require multiple devices to assist them for different task. Once you are happy with your improved independence, we will return your care back to your previous eye care provider.
